About Shasha

Her friends call her Shasha and students Professor McKain. However, she was born Aiysha McKain from Brooklyn, NY., then raised in Trinidad & Tobago during her younger years.

Her mom kept her sheltered but busy from the Brooklyn streets, which caused her to have numerous accolades such as being honored with the Rockefeller scholarship, pageantry (former Ms. Congeniality), fashion, former track athlete, involved in peace activism and more. Alumni of Long Island University and Jacksonville University, she is a Mastered prepared Registered Nurse Educator involved in community health & wellness. In regards to selfcare and wellness, she is a nurse-author of the book Poet True Night.

She has also organized industry events, “for a cause,” and had the pleasure of working with many notable individuals. Professor McKain, has always been committed to advocacy which has helped pave her path to purpose. Something she discusses exuberantly when coaching on professional development.

It is very easy to get distracted or discouraged in the world if you don’t have proper support systems in place. Therefore, the R methodology was created specifically for use on your purposeful path to professional development.

That path starts with your R for reason or your why? Rich is another “R” mentioned above. Rich is a state of mind, it is how one carries themselves mentally, it is how a person responds or chooses to improve and elevate. That’s the beauty of being so great! In this space, it’s okay to dream big, because we are about metamorphosis, manifesting, building, networking, become the next & best version of ourselves. No one is a know it all, every now and then, we all use a tour guide or GPS. That in a nutshell is “SoGr8Rns”.
